Computerworld Names BCU to 2019 List of Best Places to Work in IT

IDG’s Computerworld has announced BCU as the number 10 small-size organization on its list of 2019 Best Places to Work in IT, recognizing the Credit Union as a top organization that challenges its IT staff while providing great benefits and compensation. For BCU, the award celebrates the Credit Union’s commitment to providing extraordinary experiences.

The Best Places to Work in IT list is an annual ranking of the top 100 work environments for technology professionals by IDG's Computerworld. The list is compiled based on a comprehensive questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits, career development, training, and retention. In addition, Computerworld conducts extensive surveys of lT workers, and their responses factor heavily in determining the rankings.

By utilizing IT employees’ keen eye for progression, the Credit Union has been able to improve upon processes and effectively address inefficiencies. Last year, the IT department executed the greatest number of strategic and member facing projects, equating to $4.2 million in project benefits within 2% delivery time estimates, while simultaneously improving productivity.
